Description:

Our client, one of the leading freight and logistics organisations in Ireland, is looking to hire a Senior Sales Executive/Key Account Manager based in Dublin on a permanent basis.Your new role:
You will be responsible for managing accounts, developing additional business from current accounts and new customers. You will be involved in account reviews, quoting, and dealing with enquires, following up on new leads and updating theCRM system. There will be an opportunity for progression with a view to you handling key accounts. You will play a key role in assisting Business Development Managers.

Your main duties and responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to named client concerns and needs.
Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any new requirements and opportunities and offering solutions to same.
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients. Focus is on increasing the value client through additional business wins.
To develop new and existing business using both current database and other sources (Sales leads, manifests, leads from team) to support the services supplied by the organisation.
Support the team in setting meetings for BDMs for potential and existing clients.
Take enquiries and requests from customers and address their needs. Qualify the opportunity and plan for progressing same.
Regular planned communication with named accounts, making sure they're receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs.
Report and communicate progress at regular sales meetings.
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.

Your skillsand attributes:
Minimum 2 years+ in a sales or customer service role (preferably courier/freight industry).
Desire to grow and develop career in Sales and Freight Industry.
Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
Demonstrated relationship management and customer accounts management.
Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, negotiation skills and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
Organizational skills and good attention to detail.
Self-starter and can work on own initiative
