Areyou a bakery manager who is tired of the early starts or weekend shift? Are you passionate about baking and the creativity around baking, and keen to make a career change into NPD? This job offers the possibility of a compressed working hours/4 day week.Our client, based in Dublin (airport side) seeks an NPD technologist/manager, for their state of the art production facility.
You will be joining a growing, privately owned Irish business. This company has the large, modern production facility and has grown dramatically over the past few years. They have a diverse portfolio of products and customers, and are seeking a Product Development Technologist/manager to work in an exciting fast-growing business in their onsite NPD kitchen. This is a criticalrole working closely with customers and key internal stakeholders to achieve results in terms of the new product and existing product development strategy and ultimately delivering on the company's business growth objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Allelements of Product Development from idea generation through to post launch review.
Research & Develop recipes in the NPDKitchen for new products to meet project briefs.
Plan and execute sensory analysis internally, compose reports and make recommendations.
Plan and execute production trials.
Compile and issue relevant recipe, nutrition, and production documents to support new product launch.
Provide technical support to production when required.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Relevant Bakery qualification, with a passion for baking, ingredients and innovative food concepts.
Experience developing products in a baking environment.
Ability to interpret consumer needs and develop bakery products to satisfy those needs.
