Contract Maintenance Engineer - Days & Nights -OUTSIDE IR35
Leading food manufacturer seeks an experienced contract maintenance engineerfor an ongoing role at our facility. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems, with an electrical bias.
Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipmentincluding motors, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic systems, HVAC, boilers, compressors, and more.
* Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to get equipment operating quickly.
* Execute maintenance work orders generated through the CMMS system. Document all repairs and PM tasks completed.
* Collaborate with production teams on maintenance planning to minimize downtime.
* Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and lifespans of equipment.
* Order and maintain spare partsinventory and maintenance supplies.
* Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
* 3+years maintenance experience in a food production environment.
* Electrical maintenance skills - experience with industrial control systems is a plus.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, and drawings.
* Mechanically inclined with hands-on maintenance expertise.
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules.
* Strong communication and organizational abilities.
2s and 3s days and nights£30 - £35 ph outside IR35
