Description:
Our client, based a commutable distance from Killarney, Macroom and Millstreet, requires an industrial cook for their award winning, family owned, FOOD production facility.
This is a full time, permanent, days only job. Starting rate €13 per hour.The production runs from Monday to Thursday. 4 x 10 hour days. 3 day weekend.
You will be cooking fresh food in a HACCP controlled food factory using large scale equipment.
You will be working to cook established recipes to agreed specifications.
Previous experience of preparation and cooking of fresh foods in a factory/industrial setting is essential.
Your duties will include:
* Preparation & Cooking of Foods
* Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
* Follow recipes and presentation specifications
* Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
* Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
* Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
