Description:

Position: Head of Operational Compliance & Administration

Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports to: General Manager, FRS Recruitment

Key Responsibilities

* Compliance Management:

* Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including employmentlaw, data protection (GDPR), and industry standards.
* Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and manage any compliance-related inquiries or investigations.
* Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry regulations, and ensure the agency remains compliant.
* Maintain and update compliance documentation and records.

* Admin Management

* Overseeall timesheet management for agency workers.
* Making sure all payroll staff, admin staff and accounts know of any guideline changes from semi-state bodies

* Training and Development:

* Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff, covering topics such as compliance, recruitment best practices, and professional development.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
* Workclosely with department heads to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the compliance team.

* Leadership and Collaboration:

* Lead and mentor the compliance and training team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance and training initiatives align with the agency's overall goals and objectives.
* Prepare and present regular reports to the senior management team on compliance status and training progress.

Qualifications and Skills

* Strong experience in a compliance role within the recruitment or staffing industry.
* Strong knowledgeof Irish employment law, GDPR, and industry-specific regulations.
* Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs throughout an organisation
* Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.* Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
* Relevant certifications are a plus.
