Head of Operations
Salary up to £78,000 per annum - bonus & car allowance & private medical insurance, etc.

My client is a leading provider of healthcare equipment and services. They support their customers and their families to live more independently in their own homes.

Responsibilities

* Full accountability for the recruitment and management of all members of the direct and contracted team. Provide clear direction, visible and robust leadership and empowerment to direct staff and provide ongoing development for individuals to ensure retention and to meet the strategy and KPI's of the organisation.
* Management and overall responsibility for the quality of the work delivered by the team, setting high standards of service and workmanship through effective training solutions, clear process and risk assessment creation and communication, and creating a culture of accountability and respect.
* Responsible for customer experience and service to meet contractual SLA's and firmly establishthe client as a market leader.
* Participation in partnership with the Procurement team, in the negotiation and contract agreement with contractors and suppliers to deliver quality work and supplies on time and within budget.
* Ensure that service/installation stock is managed in line with the financial and operational requirements of the business, including audit and integrity.
* Oversee the scheduling of the workforce labour team to maximise service delivery and cost savings.
* Act as point of contact for escalations, including for customer, client and supplier complaints and employee performance matters such as 1:1's, performance reviews, grievances/ disciplinaries/ appeals etc.

Skills & Experience

* Financial awareness with the ability to manage costs and budget both proactively and reactively.
* Outstanding leadership and management techniques.
* Exceptional communication and influence in relationship with internal stakeholders
* Outstanding project management skills in supportof development and deployment of new products and services beyond the scope of the existing business
* Knowledge of ISO 9001,ISO14001 & ISO45001 accreditations and standards.
* Demonstrable knowledge of leading outstanding operational and financial performance against commercial and local authority contracts.
* Demonstrable experience of managing an adaptations or homeimprovement team including knowledge and experience of tiling, plumbing, carpentry, brickwork, joists, plastering etc.
* Previous experience of bid creation, contract proposals and pricing.
* Previous Healthcare industry experience - essential.
