My client requires a Health and Safety Manager to join theirteam in Citywest, Dublin.
Based in their Citywest office, you will be responsible for the management of all Health & Safety activities over their 6 sites.

Responsibilities: (A Snapshot…)
* Training-Provide Health and Safety and ManualHandling training with all new joiners, ensuring yearly reviews and refresher training is complete.
* Training- Ensure all compliance training is provided - fire warden, first aid responder, chemical spill response, rescue and working at heights, MEWP, VDU assessments.
* Chair monthly H&S meetings providing updates to the business.
* Carry out risk assessments and maintain depots risk registers on documentation system and ensure compliant with section 19 of the health safety and welfare at work act.
* Carry out internal health and safety audits for the supply chain depots nationwide.
* Carry out accident and incident investigations and where necessary provide mitigating actions, reporting all accidents when required to the health and safety authority.
Requirements:
* 3rd Level qualification (minimum level 7) in health and safety.
* Manual handling instructor qualification.
* VDU/DSE workstation assessor.
* First aid responder qualification.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in ahealth and safety role in an FMCG environment.
* Excellent knowledge of the 2005 Health safety and welfare at work act.
* Good knowledge of chemical safety and fire safety.
* Accident management and incident investigation skills preferably with a formal training qualification.
