UP TO £45,000 (DOE) + CAR ALLOWANCE
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are now exclusively recruiting a National Account Manager for a well respected FMCG business to join an expanding team in the North West. Thisis the perfect opportunity for a career driven individual who wants to get into a business during a truly exciting time of growth.
As a National Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a number of key existing National Accounts, increasingrevenue spends and driving more listings into the specified retailers. In addition, you'll need to be confident to open new doors with other leading retailers.
You'll be managing relationships with businesses like; ASDA, Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Amazon, Boots, B&Q etc, I'm keen to speak to Account Managers from Health & Beauty, FMCG, Food Production, Large retaileror Manufacturing sectors
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager to join an expanding business and very quickly become a key player within the sales team
THE ROLE:
* Working with existing business clientsto ensure that service levels are achieved and that strong relationships are built.
* Responsible for account management, working with clients to understand their businesses and goals, ensuring clients accounts are maintained
* Proactively grow salesthrough identifying opportunities and selling new products and ranges.
* Responsibility for managing product cost prices to maximise contribution including the implementation of cost increases when required
* Development and ongoing management of customer joint business plans where relevant, ensuring that these are aligned to business priorities
* Acting as the first point ofcontact for clients and handling enquiries.
* Supporting a continuous improvement culture across the organisation bringing examples of best practices and new ideas.
* Delivery of Forecast customer Volume, Net Sales, and Margin for the for relevant Customers.
* Continual evaluation of customer product mix to drive improved profitability incorporating initiatives such cost ofproduct recommendations and domestic sales.
* Taking the lead with buyers to secure the optimum distribution level & fixture space for all supplied products
* Effectively manage & resolve all customer pricing and terms queries directly with thecustomer to ensure a healthy balance sheet and minimise financial risk
* Ensuring a level of forecast accuracy that supportsdelivery of excellent Customer Service Levels & stock targets and informs the businesses financial planning cycle.
THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will already be operating as National Account Manager with the following experiences & attributes
* Experience within an account management role dealing with major UK High Street or Online Retailers
* Backgroundin FMCG, Food Production, Health & Beauty, Manufacturing sectors
* Excellent IT Skills with the full MS Office suite suchas Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are essential.
* Able to work independently and be able to manage own time.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A resilient highly driven individual who is career focused.
