The embryo's attachment to the lining of the uterus causes implantation bleeding. Tiny blood vessels may burst as the embryo grows into the lining, causing spotting or light bleeding. Usually, about 25% of women get pregnant, but most women never do. They might think it's a light one. If their pregnancy test returns positive, you might worry about your pregnancy.
