FRS is currently looking for Clerical Officers Grade III and IV to join a busy HSE department in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath
The Role:
* Provide clerical support to the existing teams
* Typing of clinical correspondence, photocopying, office filing and folder management
* Ensure patient records are maintained in a timely, accurate and comprehensive mannerand that they are available promptly as required
* Responsible for the administrative management of outpatient clinics, admissions and day cases for the relevant clinician.
* To research, retrieve and collate records required for Freedom of Information/Data Protection requests in accordance with legislation and time frames
* Responsibility for managing the Outpatient and Inpatient Waiting List
* Ensure all records are tracked, inputted, maintained and updated at all times
* Must maintain confidentiality at all times
* Collect post and distribute to relevant departments
* Answering telephones and deal with queries thatmay arise
* Other ad hoc clerical duties
* 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Requirements:
* Excellent verbal andwritten communication
* Excellent working knowledge of MS Work, MS Excel, Outlook.
* Dictaphone typing skills preferred* Attention to detail and accuracy essential
* Good record management and Organisation skills
* Ability to work on their owninitiative as well as part of a team
* Adherence to deadlines
