Description:

I'm currently recruiting for for Clerical Officers with payroll and or accounts experience to join our client in Co.Laois.

Payroll - Duties & Responsibilities:

* Preparation andprocessing of payrolls, incorporating calculation and verification of all the constituent components, and ensuring completeness, accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all tasks and inputs associated with same.
* Accurate completion of periodic, monthly, annual and other returns, forms and all related documents both for Revenue and individual employees.
* Ensuring compliancewith all Legislative, Revenue & Social Welfare regulations and HSE and Department of Health Guidelines and circulars.
* Ensuring that adequate payroll, pension and other records are maintained in a satisfactory condition and provide payroll information as required.
* 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

Accounts Office - Duties & Responsibilities:

* Processing payments of invoices over the phone and at office from patients directly via cash, card & cheque transactions.
* Taking payments and Issuing of receipts
* Keeping a record of credit card payments & performing a daily reconciliation to bank account.
* Performing end of day checks and reconciliations for income received f & preparation of reports for finance management.
* Running a cash point list reports and the end of the day and checking it matches with the daily takings
* Responsiblefor transport function, schedule private transport bookings and liaise with customers in regard to funded transport
* Reconciliation of private taxi invoices against internal records.
* Allocation of income from private health insurance companies to management system to ensure income received is applied to correct accounts.
* Allocation of income from Debt Management Agencies.
* Arrange cash collections & lodgements with outsourced provider.
* Responsible for management of Petty Cash.
* 35hours per week, Monday to Friday

Requirements:

* Previous payroll experience essential
* Previous accounts experienceessential
* Must have excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
* Capable of working with the public, a part of ateam and on own initiative
* Must have knowledge of payroll and accounts systems
* Must have excellent IT skills especially excel
* Immediately available

This is a temporary full time position with a start in January 2024.
