Description:

* Construction Site Administrator
* £16 - £19 per hour PAYE
* Temporary contract until end of Dec 2023
* Role based in Royston, Cambridgeshire



Working for a large and successful Construction andEngineering company we are looking for an experienced Site Administrator to join one of their construction projects based in Royston, Cambridge.



This is a full-time role working full-site on-site. The hours are 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday andon a Friday the hours will be 8:30am - 2:30pm



The role is a long term temporary position starting ASAP and will initially be until end of December 2023 but it's a very strong likelihood this role will continue into 2024.



The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on-site within a Construction Engineering company and if you have any experience workingwithin Health & Safety this would be a big plus.



Primary Functions of the Site Administrator:

* Support Site Manager with any administrative roles
* Competency verification of personnel qualifications (CSCS, CCNSG, etc)
* Drugs and Alcohol Verifications
* Take pictures of newly inducted persons for gate passes
* Arrange induction requests after receipt of booking form from Contractors/Vendors
* Liaise with Trainers to organize Inductions for new starters
* Print out Induction Material and ensure hard hats are available
* Assist in procurement of HSE items such as PPE, stickers, banners etc
* Controlissue of PPE to personnel
* Administer the Recognition and Rewards Program including, updating register with pictures, ordering food and procurement of vouchers and other rewards
* Together with the HSE Dept, administer random A&D testing as required
* Together with D&B Facility Lead, conduct regular housekeeping and cleanliness rounds on the office and report deficiencies
* Together with HSE Manager input data into Action Tracking Register
* Print out signs and weatherproof as requested* Assist in printing of permits as required
* Labelling of equipment as required



Skills and experience required:* It is essential that you have experience working as an Administrator
* If you have any experience working within Health & Safety or have knowledge of a HSE management system this would be a big bonus
* Good Excel skills and confident working on and updating spreadsheets
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly organised and able to meet deadlines
* Strong attentionto detail
