Description:

My client who is based in Shannon is looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their growing team. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working in a logistics/purchasing/data entry environment.Monday to Friday no evenings or weekends! This role is fully on site.



Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the Customer Services Representative is accountable to follow company procedures for the accurate administration of all transport activities.



* Receive and process sales orders by phone and email and where applicable enter orders on the hauliers trackand trace system.
* Enter Customer Orders on company systems
* Revert to customers with anticipated delivery dates and timesaccording to agreed lead-times.
* Liaise with technical representatives to ensure customer site readiness prior to deliveries.
* Distribute delivery documentation for all outgoing deliveries.
* Maintain and update price lists for all customers.
*Liaise with both drivers and sub-contracted hauliers to arrange delivery of customer orders.
* Highlight any changes to ordersto Customer Services production or any unusual requirements.
* Update company systems with new customer accounts, delivery addresses and new product templates.
* Complete sales orders post-delivery and ensure all relevant paperwork is assigned and attached to each order e.g. PO, POD etc. and closed out for invoicing.
* Assist with issuing of quotes for products to customers.* Main point of contact for answering telephone calls in relation to customer queries
* Any other ad-hoc duties as requiredSkills and Experience

* Experience in a logistics/freight company an advantage
* Ability to work in a dynamic customer orientated environment.
* Proven Customer Services Skills
* Excellent communication skills with both current and interdepartmental team members
* Effective time management skills
* Strong IT skills, including ERP systems, Microsoft Office package etc
