* Part-Time Facilities Administrator / Receptionist
* Working Monday - Friday9am - 2:30pm
* £15 per hour
* Initial temporary contract until end of Dec 2023 but could extend
* Role based in Cambridge
This is a really lovely role for someone who is looking for Part-Time work within the Centre of Cambridge. Working fora successful technology company we are looking for a friendly and welcoming Facilities Administrator/Receptionist to support the daily functions within this small friendly office.
The working hours will be 8:30am/9am - 2:30/3pm Monday - Friday butwe can be very flexible. This role is working on-site Monday - Friday so no remote working.
There is very limited parking on-site so the ideal candidate will be happy to get to work via public transport. The offices are located less than 5 minuteswalk from Cambridge Train Station.
The main purpose of the role:-
* Organize and coordinate administration duties,office procedures and facilities. The role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness.
* Make sure the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis for our colleagues and visitors.
Duties will include:-
* Meeting and greeting clients and providing general support to visitors; ensure visitors are booked into the BluePoint system
* Arrange and manage routine and specialist mechanical and electrical work from external contractors.* Issuing building and parking permits for contractors
* Oversee cleaners (quality, issues etc)
* Ordering Wednesday lunches, milk and bi-weekly fruit deliveries.
* Processing expenses for exec team
* Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post and arranging couriers
* Monitoring levels and ordering of stationery and equipment
* Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs (coffee machine etc)
* Assist in the on boarding process for new hires
* Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and key replacement etc)
* Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
* Access Card Management - new starters, leavers, visitors, lost/replacement cards
Skills and experience required:-
* Good interpersonal skills
* Well presentable with a welcome and friendly manner
* Previous experience in either Reception, Facilities or Administration is essential
* Well organised and self-disciplined with ability to prioritise under pressure
* Ability to work independently and take on responsibility* Well organised, conscientious, flexible and reliable
* Computer literacy, experience of using Microsoft Office
