FRS Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an Financial Administrator to join an established& expanding business in the West - Offaly region. For this role you will use your knowledge and experience, to work in the administration function for the Group.

Responsibilities

The Role:

The successful candidate will play an active part in our clients Company Finance Team. They will assist and contribute to daily financial duties of the group. The role will assume responsibility for a variety of day-to-day financial activities, whilst leading and supporting as appropriate, key projectsand initiatives to contribute to the ongoing efficiency of the finance team.

Responsibilities:

* Work collaboratively with other members of the finance team thereby contributing to an engaged team helping to drive the business forward

* Help other team members to ensure strong controls in place in entire Finance Department

* Assist in preparing information for auditors

* Perform other tasks for the finance team including but not limited to;

* Bank reconciliation statements
* Accounts Payable/Receivable
* Introduce and implement Standard Operating Procedures for Department
* Batch management system support
* Project work
* Stock adjustment overview

* Responsibility to maintain and foster the excellent culture of unity, friendship and cooperation that currently exists in the Company
* Contribute and part take in continuous improvement projects inthe Administration department and assist other departments with same
* Contribute to the development of the company as a sustainable, successful, expanding and responsible organisation



Experience and Qualification Requirements

* Business/Accountancy qualification an advantage
* Knowledge of Herbst or similar integrated accounting package an advantage
* Strong ITskills - Excel, Outlook, Word
* Ability to work well as part of a team and be able to build effective relationships across the business
