Seeking an experienced HR Specialist with solid experience in running investigations from start to finish in a fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate would have worked in Hospitality or in a similar fast paced environment with the ability to work well under pressure, have multiple caseloads / tasks to deal with on a daily basis and experience with fully running investigations, chairing disciplinary meetings, dealing with complex ER cases, sickness and recruitment.

THE ROLE
*Provide an efficient, effectiveand customer focused HR service which supports all aspects of employee relationship and engagement within the Company includingrecruitment, employee relations, terms and conditions of employment, training and development activities, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and Company policies.
*Build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice.
*Build a good relationship with senior leadership and management teams to support with the effective and efficient performance of their staff, identifying and facilitating appropriate interventions through the performance management processes.
*Ensure effective monitoring of sickness trends and remedial action in accordance with Company policy and to facilitate aproactive approach to absence management to ensure a smooth return to work (where possible) or exit (where not)
*Take responsibility for the application of HR policies, ensuring that HR/ER issues are dealt with within the timescales set out in the procedures of the Company.
*Engage in promoting the core values of the Company, monitoring employee health and well-being and delivering improvements through appropriate and considered employee benefits.
*Lead on management of family friendly policies for theCompany - including flexible working, maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental.
*Give appropriate HR advice related to Employment Law on key issues such as Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance Management, Flexible Work Requests, and Capability amongst others
*Support the development of effective communication and feedback channels with all staff and through a variety of mechanisms to support employee engagement.
*Ensure all data on manual and computerised records is accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely reports as and when required.
*Support recruitment (end-to-end) as and when required, including attending to the HR Reception desk
*Assist and participate in design and delivery of training and team development activities to enhance knowledge and skills of Head of Departments and Supervisors when required.
*Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm to promote the principle of equality and diversity in employment and service delivery.
*Contribute and support the continuous improvement of HR systems, practices and policies in the organisation, ensuring they underpin our Company culture.
*Assist (and lead where appropriate) on the scoping, implementation and review of Human Resources and business projects and activities.

EXPERIENCEREQUIRED
*Currently operating at least at HR Advisor or higher level managing all aspects of employment practices, HR policiesand generalist HR duties with at least 2yrs active HR / ER experience
*Current knowledge, understanding and practical application of Employment Law
*Able to engage with front line staff up to Board members with ease
*Staff supervision and management
*Able to handle generalist HR including recruitment, training
*Project management
*HR in hotel or hospitality industry (or care)
