My client who is based in Ennis is looking for an experience HR Generalist to join their team for 6 months. There is a potential for this role to go permanent. This role is 28 hours per week (4 days) and the their is flexibility around which 4 days are worked.
Duties:
* Assist in the management of human resources/employee relations in the Services
* Play a leadership role in the development of progressive HRM policies and practices and introduce innovations as appropriate
* Oversee the effective implementation of all HR/ and relevant organisational Policies.
* Take a key role in developing and fostering positive employee relations in the Services by providing advice and guidance to all line managerson matters related to Human Resource policies, procedures and conditions of employment.
* Develop and maintain a good workingrelationship with trade union and professional representative organisations.
* Promote and foster positive Industrial Relations/Employee Relations with a particular emphasis on partnership working.
Requirements
* Relevant HR experience in complex environment is essential. Multi-site experience is desirable.
* Significant experience in most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Management: employee relations; performance management; leadership development; employee engagement; compensation and benefits, recruitment, attendance management.
* Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability todevelop credible relationships within the organisation.
* Demonstrate up to date knowledge of employment law
* Experience ina multi unionised environment is desirable
* Ability to lead and drive change is desirable
* Relevant experience in the public service is desirable
* Full Clean Drivers Licence
