The Opportunity:
We are exclusively working with an award-winning law firm who provide clients nationwide. They are looking toexpand their team by recruiting a Legal Secretary to work at their office in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to joina well-known company with a brilliant reputation in the industry.
As a Legal Secretary, you will specialise in all aspects of client work including Wills, Probate Trusts, and Private Tax advice. You will be expected to keep records up to date, organiseappointments and manage the diary, update clients on matters and more.
If you have at least 12 months experience in a LegalSecretarial role, this position may be suitable for you.
The Role:
* Taking new enquiry calls/emails and advising clientsof costs of fees.
* Observation of practice procedures in respect of client care
* Arranging mail dispatch by post, hand orDocument Exchange
* Maintaining diaries and making appointments for fee earners
* Attending to will searches and responsestherein.
* Liaison with clients, third party solicitors, appropriate barristers, experts, hospitals and other agencies on behalf of fee earners
The Person:
* An ability to work both within a team and on your own initiative.
* An ability to manage your typing efficiently, competently, and cost-effectively.
* Be proficient In Microsoft packages
* Excellent telephone manner
* An empathy for, and understanding of, the problems faced by clients.
