The Role:
You will be responsible forgaining new business as well as managing existing clients who require the specialist services on offer. With a reputation for responsiveness and meticulous workmanship, you will be working for one of the UK's leading business within its specialist industry.
The unprecedented growth in the industry they support has created a wealth of new opportunities for their services and they are keen to capitalise on this with the right person.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* As Business Development Manager you'll be responsible for generating new business and account management.
* You'll be able to quickly understand client requirements, suggest appropriate options, support with professional, accurate quotes and see them through to successful conclusions.* Through your excellent account management, you'll naturally be the first call for repeat business. resulting in further personal success and rewards.
* Building a database of current users of potential service users by undertaking regular prospecting* Assisting with the development process from marketing intelligence through to client identification
* Undertaking cost analysis of new business opportunities.
* Attending tender site visits, client meetings and submission interviews, preparing and delivering presentations and completed tender documents to prospective clients
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience within the Construction, Business or Retail Security
* Manned Guarding
* Naturally, you'll be enthusiastic, proactive,ambitious and well organised to exceed very achievable targets.
* You'll no-doubt have outstanding written and verbal communication with demonstrable experience of the ability to build and sustain relationships with clients at all levels.
* Commercialnegotiation including T&C
* Strong communication skills - able to cold call potential clients
* Good time management* Information technology understanding
* Sales experience (Consultative approach)
* Self-motivation
* Bid Project Management
* Understanding buying processes
* Understanding sales processes
* Impeccable organisational skills
* Proven track record of sales
