MANCHESTER
Up to £30,000 + BENEFITS + PARKING AVAILABLE
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're exclusively recruiting on behalf of a highly successful business who is looking to expand their operation due to the continued growth. They're now seeking an experienced Office Manager to support the day to day running of the business with a focus on accounts.
You will be getting involved with Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control,Payroll and Bank / Supplier reconciliation, amongst other tasks.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Office Manager, Office Administrator, Office Coordinator, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Accounts Administrator, Finance Administrator or similar who is confident using Sage to join a fast-paced business.
THE OFFICE MANAGER ROLE:
* Working within a busyoffice environment
* Supporting the Director with day to day running of the business
* Liaising with suppliers and externalstakeholders
* Responsible for raising all sales invoices
* Ensuring invoices and invoice reminders are sent to clients promptly
* Posting online sales on the appropriate nominal
* Running reports on Sage and Excel
* Submitting VAT on Sage
* General bookkeeping
* Preparing a preparing payroll for a small team
* Preparing monthly expenses and gaining approval beforepayment
* Bank reconciliation and ensuring accounts are accurate
* Liaising with the external accountant who will produce year end
THE PERSON:
* Must have experience in either an Office Manager, Office Administrator, Office Coordinator, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Accounts Administrator, Finance Administrator or similar
* Excellent numerical skills with a meticulous attention to detail
* Experience of Sage 50 or above is essential, any experience of Sage Payroll would be a distinct advantage
* A confident communicator who can speak with suppliers and business customers via telephone and email
* AAT Level 3 or above would be an advantage but is not essential
