Our successful client is looking for a Procurement Administrator to join their team based outside Limerick city.This position will support and advise with the tendering and procurement process in the delivery of optimum value through its engagement with suppliers of goods and services. Strong Admin experience is required.
The Role
* Ensure that supplies andservices are procured in line with current procurement policies and procedures
* Create, edit and manage tender notices
* Setting up and maintenance of contract files
* Co-ordinate tender clarifications, as required
* Prepare and review procurementdocumentation and participate in the negotiation of commercial contracts with suppliers throughout the procurement processThe Person:
* Degree in relevant procurement or business discipline
* Ability to work effectively on own initiative and in a team environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Be well-organized and work to strict deadlines
* Some knowledgeof procurement environment
* Strong relevant administration experience
* Strong Interpersonal & Communication skills
