FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Agri Commercial Manager on behalf of a leading Irish Agribusiness. This role will report to the CEO and the role involves managing the overall Sales Operations and Strategy of the business. Indeed, this is a full-time permanent role and based in Munster. May suit candidates in Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, Waterford and Limerick.
Core Responsibilities
* Own Our client's sales strategy in order to achieve targets and annual Budgets.
* Drive revenue growth through effective sales and pricing strategies.
* Manage the sales teams to create, develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Instill a continuous coaching and improvement culture in the areas of customer care, engagement and selling skills.
* Champion Data Driven decisions with a strong ability to interpret sales data and metrics to makeinformed decisions and drive sales strategy.
* Use and manage the CRM system to measure and communicate progress against annual targets and maintain the customer database to ensure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting.
* Develop and sustainon our environment of integrity selling.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
* Key Integration with Marketing in the creation, execution and review of Marketing campaigns and strategies.
* Anticipate market changes and proactively respond.
* Contribute to strategic direction and decision-making process with the Senior Management team.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Credit Control, Marketing, IT, Logistics and Breedingto ensure customers' needs are met and the Company brand is known and respected in the marketplace.
* Build an active salespipeline to create a sustainable prospect list of customers.
* Identify general areas for improvements to maximize customer satisfaction and efficiencies, streamline processes, increase sales, improve delivery and product availability.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
* An appetite for selling success.
* Have a proven track record in sales operating at a seniorlevel.
* An Excellent communicator and team player.
* A minimum of three years relevant experience.
* A relevant thirdlevel qualification in Agri/Sales related discipline desirable.
* Possess excellent leadership, relationship building and communication skills.
* Experience of working in an integrated sales and marketing environment where demonstration of results formed a critical part of the role.
* Clear strategic thinker with proven strategy execution to deliver competitive advantage.
* Strong Commercial effectiveness - ability to understand customer needs, use data to drive decisions and decide strategy.
* Process driven with excellent knowledge of CRM to drive accountability and performance across teams.
* Ability to coach team members in their personal development towards success.
* Knowledge of best practice in relation to resource use and time planning.
* Adherence and understanding of Compliance and management responsibilities.
