FRS Recruitment is now working with a leading Agribuisness and inviting applications for the role of 'Agri Yard Operative' and to be based in Tinahely, Wicklow. Indeed this is a full time role.
Main Responsibilities & Activities.
Stores Role:Day to day store duties at the store and yard at Tinahely, Wicklow.
Sales Role: Dealing with retail and trade customers whovisit the store.
Working Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm generally.
Specific duties & Responsibilities.
* Unloading, checking and storing all deliveries arriving to stock.
* Preparing, loading, and dispatching orders to customers.
* Maintain thestore and yard in a safe and proper condition.
* Assist with Stock takes.
* Adhere to Health & Safety practices.
* Carry out deliveries of material when required.
Sales Duties:
* Liaising with purchasing dpt. to check stock availability,lead times, etc.
* Assist with creating purchase orders, for both retail and contract fencing stock
* Checking in deliveriesfrom suppliers
* Organizing deliveries in a timely manner
* Counter sales duties
* Taking payments for goods
ContractWork
* Assist with gathering materials for site teams.
* Gathering details of materials used/left over from site work.Candidate Profile
* Agri/Construction background desirable
* Ability to drive small teleporter
* 1-2 years similar experience also desirable
* Willingness to learn, good work ethic and show initiative
