FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Commercial Ruminant Nutritioniston behalf of a leading animal nutrition business in the Waterford / South Kilkenny area. This is a full-time permanent position.
Our client has been supporting the farming community for over 25 years with their comprehensive range of high-quality feedand supplements. Their key to success has been the strong business relationships they have made with dairy, beef & pig farmers in supporting animal health & farm profitability.
Currently we are looking to recruit a Commercial Ruminant Nutritionist who will support the field-based team. This role for the most part will be office based with occasional customer / site visits. We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have previous experience in a ruminant nutrition role and enjoy working with farmers.
You will get the opportunity to join a business who has recently opened new markets outside of Ireland.You will have the support of a very established team and ongoing training and mentoring will be provided.
Reporting to theCommercial director you will be responsible for the following duties.
* Advise farmers on specific dietary requirements.
* Work closely with the field-based team in providing top class customer support.
* Sales administration - processing of customer orders.
* Provide technical support & backup to customers on complete product range to include mineral and feed supplements.
* Work as part of a team and attend agricultural shows,
* Provide feedback on market & customer trends to senior management.
* Manage all incoming product queries / sales orders to the office.
Candidate profile
* 3rd levelDegree in Agriculture
* A minimum of 3 years industry experience with some exposure to nutrition.
* A strong desire to pursue a career in Ruminant Nutrition.
* Professional business manner & highly organised.
Remuneration
Attractive salary & bonus DOE.
Pension after 6 months.
