On behalf of my client in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, I am recruiting for a General Operative with Driving Duties for a period of six months.
The role responsibility:
Driving
* Transport and stock fish.
Fish Farm Duties
* Prepare hatchery trays, troughs, screens, etc., for hatching ova;* Strip fish each year;
* Carry out minor maintenance of grading and pumping equipment
* Prepare ponds for rearing largerfry, feed and grade same, as necessary
* Undertake whatever duties of a general nature which may be assigned
* Carry out semi-skilled work such as the operation of hand tools and machinery.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A full driving licence - Category C valid in the State
* Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* No convictions under the Irish Fisheries Legislation
* Eligibility to work in the State
* Fluent English - both in spoken and written English
* Competency in and on the water (both at sea and in lakes and rivers)
Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, longer daysmay be required due to length of trip
Rate of Pay: €16.32 per hour.
