Description:

My client, one of the Big4, is looking for an experienced Associate Director fortheir Nature and Land Use unit.

The job is permanent, based in Dublin and offering hybrid working scheme.

You will focuspredominantly on engagements related to nature, biodiversity and land use across the public and private sectors. However, your work will also intersect with wider engagements on climate risk, sustainable finance, ESG transformation and responding to marketand regulatory drivers such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Report Directive (CSRD), TNFD Disclosures and Transition Planning.

In order to be successful you will have:

* Bachelor's degree and ideally a Master's degree in nature and biodiversityrelated subject areas.
* 7+ years of professional experience (incl. consulting) with a focus on nature and biodiversity, natural capital and ecosystem services and related areas.
* Knowledge of and access to, important nature and biodiversity standards, networks, and alliances.
* A passion for sustainability and ESG and are experienced at translating complex topics for non-technical audiences and clients. You understand the science and the intersectionality of nature loss, climate change and a Just Transition.
* Confidence in working with data and numbers, to analyze and improve processes.
* A strong understanding of key sustainability trends in Ireland and the EU, from reporting regulations to public commitments and the impacts of climate on corporate entities (e.g. EU CSRD, TNFD, SBTi and SBTN).
* Excellent project management skills
* Confident in ESG report writing and qualitative research and analysis
* Technical expertise on nature and biodiversity in one of more priority sectors (e.g., agri-food, finance, energy, infrastructure) is highly desirable.

You will sit within the Nature and Land Use unit of Sustainable Futures but, as my client has a multi-disciplinary team working on multi-disciplinary projects, you will also work across climate risk, decarbonization, sustainable finance, circular economy, ESG strategy, supply chain, human rights, reporting, etc.This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to make an impact in Ireland and the global transition to a nature positive and net zero economy.
