FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of Quality Control Assistant (Agri) with a leading Irish Agribusiness and Based in Longford. Given to its proximity this position (and based on site) it may suit candidates in the Longford, Cavan and Westmeath region.
Ideal candidate will have a strong background and interest in farming (agri). Indeed, this is a full-time perm position.
The role - QC Assistant
* Perform quality control checks on every bulk load entering thesite.
* Ensure that all quality control intake procedures are correctly adhered to.
* Provide assistance and ad-hoc training to drivers where necessary.
* Daily checking of all bulk inspection logs & samples.
* Perform quality control checkson loads leaving the site.
* Maintaining records accurately.
* Aid in development of all Feed Quality Procedures.
* Assistin the management of Health & Safety and Biosecurity on site.
* Occasional Lab testing of finished feed products.
* Aidin the management of EPA requirements, and complete checks in relation to this.
* Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in hisduties.
Experience in similar role, background qualification in Agri / science, (Green Cert) would be an advantage.
