FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager on behalf of a leading animal nutrition business. This is a full-time permanent role with attractive benefits.
Our client has beensupplying premium range of nutritional & health products to the ruminant sector for close to 40 years. We are now looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager whose primary role will be to manage a team of Sales Agents who deal primarily in the Dairy ,Beef & Sheep sectors.
The Regional Sales Manager will be the driving force behind the regions short , medium and long term development.
This role will suit someone living in the Midlands
Duties to include.
* Ensure that the overallsales plans for the region, by product group and agent territory, are achieved or exceeded as outlined and agreed in your annual Regional Business Plan.
* Prepare an annual Regional Business Plan.
* Offer agents 3, 6, 9 and 12 month reviews in their first year and two formal reviews annually thereafter.
* Prepare an annual Regional Business Plan and organise quarterly salesmeetings.
* Participate in dual farm calls with agents ( 2 to 3 days week )
* Provide coaching and mentoring to agents on anongoing basis.
* Support agents at Auction Marts and Farmers Meetings.
* Help organise and staff all key shows and events in your area and where appropriate nationally eg ( The Ploughing Championships , Tullamore Show )
* Effectively review regionalperformance in sales and management meetings.
Experience required.
* Previous people management experience , we will also accept applications from candidates looking to take there first step into management.
* A good understanding of Livestock farming and 1 to 2 years previous experience of working in the Agricultural sector ideally in the commercial role.
* GoodIT skills with ability to prioritise workload.
