Get Recruited are supporting a highly successful arboricultural business based in Gillingham, who are seeking aRetail Sales Assistant to join their growing team.
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be working within the showroom in acustomer facing capacity, answering calls, recommending the most suitable products for the customers' needs and preparing supplier invoices.

THE ROLE:
* As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be greeting customers who enter the showroom
* Answer thephone, redirecting and taking messages as required
* Assisting customers / suppliers on part required, recommending the mostsuitable products for their needs
* Gaining a sound understanding of the products, providing general parts advice
* Pick andsort stock, as well as checking in new stock orders and deliveries
* Ensure that supplier invoices are prepared and sent on time
* Carry out ad hoc duties around the showroom and warehouse as required
THE PERSON:
* Previous retail/customer service experience is essential
* Knowledge of the arboricultural industry is highly desirable
* Ability to work to your own initiative
* Self-motivated, driven individual who possesses a hunger to succeed
* Flexible, as you will at times be expected to complete duties outside of your usual responsibilities
