FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Technical Ruminant Account Manager on behalf of a leading animal nutrition business , this is a full-time permanent role and based in Northern Ireland.

Ourclient is a global leader in innovative feed specialities, premixes and nutritional services for the animal nutrition industry.They have been working hand in hand with farmers , feed producers & distributors for over 25 years.

The primary functionof this role is to act as commercial and technical lead to professionally promote and sell ruminant products and services to assigned existing and potential customers.

You will establish and maintain good relations as a lead in supporting customers inthe animal feed industry in Northern Ireland at a technical and commercial level..

If you have a 3rd Level Degree or Mastersin Agriculture with an interest in animal nutrition we would be very interested in hearing from you. 1-2 years previous experience in a B2B role would be an advantage.

This role will involve travel throughout Northern Ireland.



Duties to include* Establish and develop strong customer relationships, which allows for good business relations, reinforced by sales and technical support.
* Develop account plans to achieve sales targets and deliver on customer objectives, supported by colleaguesin sales, technical and management.
* Provide advice to customers on topics including ruminant nutrition, animal husbandry, laboratory services, quality control, feed legislation. This is in achieved by engagement with relevant persons in the customer'sbusiness, including persons from the areas of sales, technical, nutritional, quality and management.
* Participate in the launch and promotion of products (mineral premix, feed additives, calf milk replacer, animal health products) and nutritional services.
* Identify and convert customer opportunities.
* Proactively align the demands and expectations of the business objectives with maximum customer satisfaction.
* Help organise customized customer seminars, customer staff training, on farm customer support and help coordinate applicable customer marketing activities.



Candidate profile

* Bachelor or Master's degree in Agricultural Science/Animal Nutrition.
* Sales and account management experience in a business-to-business environment.
* Good knowledge of animal nutrition and the animal nutrition Industry.
* Proven track record of achievement in presentingvalue-based sales proposals and winning long term customer loyalty.
* Experience in developing and nurturing positive workingrelationships.
