FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Territory Manager on behalf of a leading animal nutrition business. This is a full-time permanent role with attractive terms and conditions.
Our client is a leading animal nutrition company with exports markets in the UK & Europe. They specialise in the supply of feed ingredients to support animal health , improve animal gut function & improve the performance index for sustainable livestock products.
Overview of role
Reporting to the General Manager you will work closely with the existing distributors to maintain and develop the market. Create and develop new business relationships with key accounts in the territory. Perform and coordinate necessary field sales activities and manage sales to achieve maximum sales and profit performance as per annual budget.
This role will involve domestic travel within Ireland , occasional international travel , attendance at management meetings with full autonomy to work from home.
Duties to include.
* Grow a sales pipeline and manage daily through the CRM system.
* Document a Territory business plan that underpins the territory annual forecast by partner.
* Holds a quarterly businessreview with the partner / customer .
* Delivery accurate quarterly forecasts to the business based on the quarterly partner /customer business review.
* Create and develop new business relationships with all key stakeholders.
* Present the technical and applied benefits of the CSM offering to partners and their key accounts.
* Develop and maintain marketing and technicalcompetencies in the company product lines and emerging & current competitors' sales products. .
* Communicate effectivelythrough internal corporate procedures to process timely sales.
* Perform field sales activities and manage assigned territory.* Manage and report on sales territory to exceed sales and profit budgets.
* Communicate information on competitors' products for pricing and product to marketing & sales management.
* New business development - New end customer acquisition.Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Masters in Agriculture.
* Five years of proven sales results selling to major key accounts and independent nutritionists, Producers, Feed Mills in animal nutrition
* Comprehensive understanding of animal nutrition and key financial metrics
* Theoretical thinking and technical competency to sell nutrition solutions to key accounts.
* Solid relationships with major key accounts, nutritionists, producers, feed mills and distributors.
* Experience using a disciplined sales process and documented CRM program.
* Ability to negotiate and close new business.
