Look no further I am working with my client in this who are Number 1 and fastest-growing farm management software, used on more than 14,000 Farms across Ireland and the UK to help them recruit for UI/UXDesigner to join their innovative and passionate team.
Responsibilities:
As the UI / UX Designer, you will be joining the team that is building our market-leading SaaS app & platform. Working alongside our product owners, scrum masters anddevelopment teams, you will be responsible for user experience and aesthetic requirements and work with multiple teams in orderto ensure the best app experience for our customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers
* Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flowsand sitemaps
* Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
* Build page navigation buttons and search fields
* Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
* Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
* Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders* Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
* Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
* Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images
The Person, the skills and attributes required for this role:
* Fluent spoken and written English.
* You have at least 2 years' experience working as UI / UX Designer or similar in an Agile Development team.
* Proven work experience as a UI / UX Designer or similar role
* Portfolio of design projects
* Knowledge ofwireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
* Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
* Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
* Good time-management skills
* BScin Design, Computer Science or relevant field desirable
* Possesses knowledge of computer science fundamentals which preventshim/her from reinventing the wheel
* Is pragmatic: gets things done, can find a creative compromise between an ideal technicalsolution and client needs
* Is able to analyse, plan and estimate requirements as well as identify risks involved and providesolutions to them
