POSITION SUMMARY:
Graphic Designer required to join a busy print production team. Responsible for delivering client briefs, from conception to finished product. The position is within a customer-focused team environment, with a wide variety of rewarding designrequirements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Liaise directly with Line Manager, the Graphic Design Department andPrint Department to ` achieve product development, and delivery of service in a professional and respectful manner.
* Use ofdigital presses and wide format printers
* Client consultations
* Attend production meetings as scheduled.
* Design of leaflets, letterheads, brochures, booklets, packaging, signage and much more.
QUALIFICATIONS & Skills:
Education: Bachelor'sdegree in Graphic Design
Experience & Skills:
* Excellent knowledge of Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
* Strong graphic design skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential - must be fluent in English, written
and spoken.
* Strong layout, analytical, and creative skills
* Flexibility to meet business and customer changingneeds
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is a must
* Deadline-oriented and time management skills working in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
* Good knowledge of safety standards.
* Strong work ethic.
* Strong teamwork and an abilityto work under own initiative
* Flexible in working hours when timelines require, and ability to work to deadlines
* Knowledge of all areas of digital print is preferable.
