Description:
An Exciting Design, development and testing facility for next generation battery technology are recruiting for an experience Battery Test Technician to join them on a contract basis on their Milton Keynes site.
This role will primarily be functioning within the Milton Keynes facility, but some travel to external test houses should be expected and completed within a business pool car.
This laboratory test focused role designs or specifies test systems allowing the operation of High Voltage Batteries in a workshop and test environment for engineering evaluation and optimisation.
This position also involves the specification, design, implementation, validation and support of test systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems.
The successful Battery Test Technician:
- Previous experience working within High Voltage Batteries ideally within a laboratory/test cell environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Competent user of computers and Microsoft office packages.
Rates -
PAYE - £17.50
Umbrella Gross rate - £23.38
