I am working exclusively with our client, based in Cork city environs, who is looking to recruit a Hardware Design Engineer for their motor controller and electricalactuation design team.
You will be joining a company whose culture empowers and inspires individuals to achieve remarkable things.
You will be working on exciting new projects and in a "state of the art" lab facility.
Do you have an Electronic/Electrical Engineering Degree coupled with 5 years experience in hard real time embedded system development?
Do you have knowledge of electronic devices and FPGA communication with electronic devices?
In this challenging, but exciting, role you will be liaising with a cross functional team , evaluating new technologies and designing hardware for robust applications.
Your primarytasks will include:
Design & development of hardware (Analog, digital and power electronics) for the company's range of servo-drive products whilst ensuring that the product designs :-
Meets performance specifications, cost & reliability targets
Complies with required regulatory standards
Are designed for manufacture & test (DFM &DT)
You will also be involvedin all aspects of the hardware life cycle i.e. requirements definition, architectural design, implementation, integration and testing as part of a multi-site development team.
