We are exclusively recruiting for as prestigious venue who has seen a significant upturn in business since the reopening with a full schedule of events running at the Venue all the way into 2022/2023.

Due to demand, they're now seeking to enhance their team and recruit an experienced Sous Chef / Banqueting Chef This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced professional who is keen to join a business that has a track record in creating a real wow factor for their guests.
THE BANQUETING CHEF ROLE OVERVIEW
* As the Banqueting Chef, Responsible for the planning, organising, controlling, and directing the work of employees in the Banquet Kitchen Department. Overseeing the food preparation of all banquet and catering event while ensuring superior quality and consistencyat all times
* Additionally responsible to develop new banquet Menu's, prepare, test, taste and control out new menu items. Maintain updated and accurate recipes and costing of all dishes prepared for banquet functions.
* Assist the Head Chef in the smooth running and development of the banqueting product.
* Be up to date with all events information.
* Ensure consistency of the product throughoutthe kitchen.
* Supervise service ensuring presentation of food is compliant with company standards.
* Assist the Head Chefin menu compilation and menu changes according to the time of year and seasonal produce where required.
THE PERSON:
* Must have experience in a similar Banqueting Chef position
* Experience of people leadership, a track record of motivating and improving standards
* Ideally have experience in a 4 star + venue
* Experience in a rosetted property would be advantageous* Excellent people management skills
