SALES MANAGER - HOSPITALITY
ABINGDON
MONDAY-FRIDAY
£40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) +COMPANY CAR
We are now exclusively recruiting for a Sales Manager for an award winning hospitality business, due to recentbusiness growth. The role is ideal for a strategic and business-minded sales manager, experienced in the hospitality sector looking for an improved work life balance, utilising their industry knowledge and expertise, maybe you have been a General Manager,Hospitality or Events Manager, now looking to return to a more balanced working week.

RESPONSIBILITIES* Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships or products/services.
* Implement strategies to reach new business opportunities.
* Build relationships with clients to understand and serve their needs.
* Maintainand develop relationships with current clients.
* Work with a small team from time to time to develop our proposals maximising their effectiveness.
* Pitching sales and proposals to new and existing clients.
* To discuss and plan meetings in advanceto ensure you have the right information and the best possible chance of success.
* Attend networking events to build industry relationships and stay up to date with trends.
* Create sales forecasts and work towards reaching them.
* Develop a strongunderstanding of the company's services, and competitive positioning within the industry.
* Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure requirements are met.
* Ability to sell ideas, products, and services.
THE PERSON
* Excellenttime management and multitasking ability.
* Strategic and creative minded.
* Strong leadership qualities.
* You should also be articulate, professional, comfortable with customer engagement
* Proven experience in a competitive Sales team exceedingtargets in an outbound environment
* Must be based in the UK, ideally within commuting distance to the area
* Great customerservice skills.
* Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client's requirements.* Solid IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other statistical analysis software.
