First City Nursing and Care have a unique opportunity to join our highly experienced, progressive, and collaborative team. We are successfully expanding our services and are increasingly working with community therapists, voluntary organisations, and the hospital to deliver a new model of community-based care.



First City act as Swindon's Lead provider for home care services and remain the largest outstanding care provider in Swindon. We are increasingly being asked to support peopleat home with complex and challenging care needs. Subsequently we are able to offer experienced individuals with the chance to work at as part of our growing team that include physiotherapists, nurses and others. Working in these teams is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career in the sector and work towards management positions.



First City are a progressive organisation and are currently working on a number of new service offers, experienced care staff are at the heart of this service and there are opportunities for people to be part of development of new and existing services.

Experienced staff can expect to deliver an interesting and varied role with duties including:

* Assisting with personal care
* Administering medication
* Working with external professionals to support people to live independently
* Encouraging people to access their local communities and improve wellbeing
* Taking responsibility for delivering flexible care packages that deliver outcomes
* Supporting assessments, reviews, and other essential care management tasks

We currently have full-time and part-time vacancies across Swindon and surrounding areas. Including:

* Penhill & Surrounding
* Nythe & Eldene
* Blunsdon

Full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
