First City Nursing and Care have a fantastic vacancy for ahealthcare assistant within our independent living hubs in and around Swindon.
If you're friendly, approachable, empathetic towards others and have the drive to go the extra mile, we are looking for you. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given although we welcome applications from experienced carers.
Location: Swindon, Wroughton, Highworth
HoursAvailable: Full-Time, Part-Time, Bank
Shifts Available: Morning 7am-2:30pm - Evening 2:30pm-10:30/11:00pm
Salary: £9.52- £15.56 per hour Full training, Pension
As a healthcare assistant you will be promoting independence and supporting with duties outlined in each person-centred care plan such as:
* Assisting with personal care
* Administering medication
* Helping service users with their morning and evening routines
* Preparing meals
* Light domestic tasks

To be a healthcare assistant, you'll need to be:
* Trustworthy
* Cheerfuland friendly
* Willing to be hands-on with customers
* Willing to do personal care tasks (washing, toileting, etc)
* Ableto follow instructions
* Able to work in a team but use their own initiative
A driving licence is not required for this position, however the successful candidate will need to be available for shifts starting at 7am or finishing at 10;30/11pm in and around the Swindon area, including Highworth and Wroughton. Some weekend commitment is required for this vacancy.
