Panoramic Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Hospital Manager to work for their forensic unit in Wales. The hospital has around 50 beds and provides specialist mental health services to adult males and females
The hospital itself is set in thecountryside a 20-minute drive outside of Cardiff. There is a large purpose-built therapy centre and activity centre where theirmulti-disciplinary team offers an extensive range of clinical interventions and therapies.
Key responsibilities:
The manager will join the senior management team and have overall leadership and management responsibility over the large multi-disciplinary teams across the site. They will lead and manage the Nursing and ancillary teams of the Hospital, in order to ensure thatthe best possible standard of care is maintained within the hospital. You will ensure the delivery of excellent operational performance, whilst developing future commercial opportunities. The manager will also be responsible for meeting budgetary and financial targets and driving forward changes within the organisation.
The ideal candidate will:
·Ideally be a qualified nursewith a valid PIN (RGN, RMN or RNLD or Allied Health professionals). However, this is not essential if the candidate has previous senior management experience.
·Have experience within Mental Health Hospitals or Learning disability market#
·Have a working knowledge of Health Inspectorate Wales, QAIT and experience as a Registered Manager within a hospital environment.
·Be an experienced people manager, who is passionate about delivering and maintaining high levels of care. This can be a very challengingenvironment so would ideally suit someone who is fairly strong and can handle challenging behaviour.#
·Be able to demonstratea proven track record of results.
