Nursery Room Leader (3 to 5 year olds)
The Room Leader is a qualified childcare professional with responsibility for the day- to-day running of their room. They perform an important role caring for children, maintaining a high-quality, stimulatinglearning environment, supervising staff and imparting their knowledge and skills to others.
The nursery is open 8-6 Mon - Thurs and 8-5.30 Fri. You would be required to work 8-5.30, three days a week and 8-6 two days a week.
The ideal candidate willalso need excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team of currently nine staff members.The ideal candidate will ensure all the nurseries policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. The ideal candidate will need to build relationships with all of the children, your key children and their families.

Experience Required* Qualified Level 3 in Childcare, minimum
* Good Knowledge of the EYFS
* Good Knowledge of Development Matters
* Previous experience working within a childcare setting essential
* Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meetthe needs of this age group
* Good Safeguarding knowledge
* Prior Leadership experience in similar setting
