Social Care Worker
Location: North DublinCalling all Social Care Workers with a passion for improving the well-being and outcomes of children in care. Your aim willbe to incorporate an individualized therapeutic approach to help these young people in care live fulfilled lives, offer the highest quality of care, and empower them to live self-determined lives, in accordance with the mission and values of the organisation.

Duties of these positions include:
* To work as part of a team to provide a safe, caring environment for resident young people with the primary aim of providing the intervention necessary to address the issues that are preventing them from living at home, in foster care or in Community Based Centres in the case of Special Care Interventions.
* To participate in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans and to ensure appropriate recording of same
* To promote the rights and responsibilities of each child/young person withinthe centre.
* To promote physical, emotional, social and religious welfare of each young person in care.
Core requirements:
* A minimum of level 7 on a QQI framework BA in Social care studies or any other relevant qualification in health or social care or any other related field. Applicants with NFQ level 6 in a related discipline would be considered.
* Have experience in person-centered planning and a desire to support young people live their best lives as they choose with an emphasis on community integration and valued social roles.
* Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
* To adopt a holistic and person center approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best lives.

HSE Salary Pay Scale: €33,130 - €47,061 (Depending on Experience)Location: North Dublin
