THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a fantastic Education organisation based in Leyland. They're looking to hire a Finance Assistant, to join the team and support the Finance Manager. This role would be a fantastic role for a candidate that is looking to continue their career within Accounts developing within a fantastic business.
FINANCE ASSISTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Responsible for Purchase / Sales Ledger.
* Assessing potentialissues or risks with current account.
* Coordinating cash and daily books.
* Handling inbound queries from the wider business.
* Support with Monthly VAT returns and Reconciliations
* Provide support to the Finance Manager around Month End Reporting
* Verifying banking details
* Ad hoc duties to support Finance team
KEY EXPERIENCE:
* 1 years' experience within an Accounts Setting
* IT systems savvy with experience of Microsoft Excel desirable
* Excellent communication skills
*Determined and results focused
