FRS Recruitment are now partnering with Quane Dairy Services and inviting applications for the tole of Service Technician and operating in the North Cork region.

Quane Dairy Services was established in 2000, byRichard Quane. Operating from Kilworth in North Co. Cork. Having previously worked in the Milking Machine Department at Dairygold, Richard has an in-depth knowledge of the industry with over 25 years of experience. As a Dairymaster approved distributor, Quane Dairy Services provide expertise on sales, planning, drawings, installation and after care service 365 days of the year. The company's product ranges include conventional herringbone and rotary milking parlours, cooling tanks, farmyard equipment and automated feeding.
Contract: Full Time Perm
The Role
* Installing new Dairymaster milking and dairy farming equipment.* Troubleshoot customer queries and breakdowns on phone or on site as required.
* Attend trainings, both external and on thejob and take a proactive approach to learning the range of Dairymaster products.
* Carry out planned maintenance.
* Problem-solving ability is essential as is the ability to learn 'on the job'.
* Be able to read technical manuals and be computer literate.
* Excellent customer service skills and general communication skills.
* Be flexible to work overtime if required.The Candidate
* Experience in fitting, welding & electrical problem solving an advantage, but training will be provided.* Experience on use of tools.
* Background in agriculture and/or in the dairy industry a distinct advantage.
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
* Demonstrate good work practices including timekeeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality, and safety awareness (i.e. can-do attitude).
* Full Drivers License
* Registered qualification in mechanical, electrical or fitting would be a distinct advantage.
* Cert in Mechanical Automation & Maintenance Fitter would be an advantage #MAMF
