Job Opportunity: Assistant Site Supervisor (Full-Time, Dublin-Based)
We are currently recruiting anAssistant Site Supervisor on behalf of our client, a leading company in the timber processing industry with operations across Ireland and the UK. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a growing sector within theconstruction industry.
Location:
Primarily based in Dublin, with frequent travel to various sites including Tipperary, Cashel, Navan, Kells, and Drogheda. You will spend approximately four days per week on the road, with one day in the office.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Role Overview:
As an Assistant Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations across multiple sites in Ireland. You will ensure that all work is carried out to thehighest standards, maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the installation process. You will also act as a key point of contact between the site, design, and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily site operations,ensuring high standards of work.
* Record and report any site issues as part of the quality control and certification process.
* Assist in managing on-site erecting teams and maintaining detailed site records.
* Conduct weekly toolbox talks and ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations.
* Develop a deep understanding of the timber frame industry and suggest improvements.
* Promote and prioritise a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Key Requirements:
* Extensive travel between sites is required.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to make sound decisions andprioritise tasks effectively.
* IT proficiency, with the ability to use relevant software and systems.
* Full clean driver's license (company vehicle provided).
* Experience in construction is essential, with a background in a fast-paced environmentbeing advantageous.
* A trade or building qualification and timber frame experience would be beneficial.
