Description:
Biomedical Engineering Team Leader - London
Package - pension / 25 days holiday + bank holidays / 37hours per week
Manage a team of Biomed Engineers providing daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations. To support customers whenever needed to ensure minimal disruption tothe operation of the hospital and build long-term relationships with customers, subcontractors and staff to ensure responsiveness.
Responsibilities
* To induct, develop and support a team of Biomed Engineers to ensure customer satisfaction and to exceed contract KPIs
* To supervise the workload of the team, allocating team members to optimize productivity
* To perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
* To travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
* To complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
* To maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment
* Scheduling and completing workloadfor assigned customers within area
* Maintaining service documentation in line with business requirements
* Responsible forescalating and defining necessary resources to maintain equipment.
* Attend customer meetings when required
Skills
* 7years in a biomedical setting. Including Patient monitoring, diathermy's (electro surgery units), Theatre tables, Defibrillator's, Infusion & volumetric devices, Anaesthesia equipment, Ventilation devices. Equipment
* Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards

* Salary dependent on experience
