Job Title: CCTV/Security Engineer
Location: Stoke & Surrounding - Travel within the region andoccasional overnight stays required
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (Interview to discuss hours/days of work)
Job Purpose: To support in service activities, including installation and fault rectification, ensuring the Region is efficient and profitable by meeting customer expectations within agreed timescales. The role involves dealing with large-scale, high-end integrated surveillance control systems for diverse client bases, requiring flexibility, a 'can do' attitude, and occasional travel away from home.
Key Accountabilities:
General:
* Provide reliable, courteous, and efficient service.
* Maintain a positive company image through high standards of dress and communication.
* Close/update helpdesk after each service visit.
* Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained.
* Adhere to company Management Systems.
* Assist with the call-out rota.
Field-Based:
* Care, maintenance, and repair of complex Analogue and Digital CCTV Systems.
* Care, maintenance, and repair of functional and managed control rooms.
* Care, maintenance, and repair of multi-site Access Control Systems.
* Support and maintain Perimeter Detection Systems.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance.
* Occasional nights away.
* Assist with the call-out rota.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Sound knowledge of CCTV, IT, and PID Systems.
* Sound knowledge of Access Control systems with Site Mustering.
* Sound knowledge of DVR & NVR systems.
* Desirable knowledge in areassuch as PID's, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech GUICEM Access Control, SynergyVideo, Matrix Systems, IP Systems, Networks, Raid Recording, and first-line repairs on Gates and Barriers.
* Experience in CCTV, Auto Electricals, or Electronics.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Basic IT competence.
* Desirable: Electrical qualification (NVQ, BTEC, or Apprentice trained).
* Desirable: 5 GCSEs or equivalent, preferably in English, Maths, or Science.
* Full UK driving license.
* Relevant experience; knowledge of the bus industry, CCTV, or electrical is desirable.
* Full training will be provided.
