Description:

Are you a Continuous Improvement Specialist with a passion for driving positive change and delivering results? We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our client, a multinational production company, inLittle Island, Cork. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and leading continuousimprovement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities:

* Defining CIP Parameters: Contribute to defining the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) parameters, identify areas for improvement, and establish clear implementation plans.
* Managing CIP Programs: Take charge of managing the continuous improvement program, define needs, identify team members and their roles,plan activities, implement projects, and ensure savings are achieved.
* Securing Employee Commitment: Secure employee commitment for proactive change management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Reporting Progress: Report CIP progressto Site Management and CI region, including Roadmap progress and other relevant performance indicators.
* Establishing Focus Groups: Implement performance indicators and establish focus groups to drive the continuous improvement process.
* Operation Excellence Ambassador: Be the local ambassador for all operational excellence initiatives, championing best practices and processes.
* Implementing Sustainable Solutions: Implement sustainable solutions to problems and improvement projects by enhancing policies, procedures, and processes.
* Supporting Department Managers: Provide appropriate support to department managers in maintaining the implementation of continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Requirements:

* Hold a relevant third-level qualification in Production, Industrial, or Engineering disciplines.
* Possess 5+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturingand Engineering fields.
* Strong knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma best practices, tools, and processes.
* Proven project management and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with relevant ISO standards and legislation.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Demonstrable experience in an industry where Lean was implemented.
* A continuous improvement certification of Green or Black Belt would be highly advantageous.
* Strong ability to identify improvement opportunities and coach and develop individuals.
* Experience in change management and project management.
