Electric Gate & Barrier Engineers - Manchester - £35,000 - £38,000 per annum

Concept has a terrific opportunity for a skilled, knowledgeable and qualified Automated Barrier and Electric Gate Engineer to join our established NSI Gold accredited client. With over 20 years in the industry our client has become one of the most trusted and reliable providers within the sector. You can be sure by joining this organization you will be given supported by professionals working on state-of-the-art electronic security systems. This is a field-based role which will require a degree of physical work, working at outdoors and driving to and from sites within a given day. You will be working on sites such as: car parks, larger grounds and business or industrial areas where entry and exit need to be controlled and monitoredclosely.
Experience with Automated Barriers and Electric Gates is essential, but all experience is considered. The higher-grade engineer will usually work on complex fault diagnosis where a less experienced engineer will concentrate on preventative maintenance, straight forward repairs and replacements, and basic faults.
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver preventative visits to automated barrier, electric gate and ANPR systems mainly in commercial environments.
* You must adhere to NSI codes of practice and industry standards.
* A call out rota is not currently operational but may be required in the future.
* To carryout maintenance visits as and when scheduled by the Service Desk.
* To keep your line manager and service desk updated on yourdaily progress.
* To deliver all tasks as per your grade to a high-quality standard.
* To liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical advice when necessary
* To provide remote support to selected Clients when on call with a view to diagnose and rectify faults
* To occasionally assist the Installation department if required by the business.
