About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Onsite Field Service Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing onsite service and support to our valued customers. As a mobile field service engineer, you'll be tasked with promptly addressing customer-impacting technical issues and conducting preventative maintenance touphold maximum customer satisfaction. This role operates on a 5-day schedule, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Conducting preventative maintenance, including inspections of Automated ParcelMachines (APMs), repairing broken protective wires, and ensuring camera and digital video recorder functionality.
* Performing routine cleaning of APMs.
* Transporting hardware to and from customer locations as per assigned tickets.
* Collaboratingwith the KFP Helpdesk and clients to resolve tickets efficiently.
* Assisting in the design and construction of tools and equipment.
* Supporting the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
* Adhering to and promoting safety standards.
* Addressing systemic issues and implementing short, medium, and long-term solutions.
* Participating in the installation, maintenance, and general support of systems.
About You:
* We are looking for candidates with prior experience in a similar rolewho thrive in dynamic environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to workautonomously are essential.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach are paramount, as our customers are our top priority.
* Please note that a valid UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel long distances are prerequisitesfor this role.
* Previous experience with APMs, EPoS, and other retail IT hardware is advantageous.
Salary/Package:
